Shanghai Ocean University(SHOU); is located in the Lin-gang Special;Area of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone in Pudong New Area, Shanghai. 上海海洋大学食品学院1993年成立，前身为1912年创建的水产制造科。食品科学与工程学科在2017年及2022年两轮学科评估中均为B+。
The College of Food Sciences and Technology, Shanghai Ocean University, traces its origin to the Department of Aquatic Product Manufacturing founded in 1912, and was officially established in 1993. The discipline of Food Science and Engineering was rated B+ in China’s national discipline assessments of both 2017 and 2022.
学院在校本科生1600余人，博士、硕士研究生1000余人。拥有食品科学与工程博士后科研流动站、一级学科博士点和一级学科硕士点，制冷及低温工程硕士点，生物与医药、能源动力2个专业硕士点。设立食品科学与工程、食品质量与安全、生物制药、能源与动力工程、建筑环境与能源应用工程、包装工程6个本科专业。其中食品科学与工程专业为国家级特色专业，通过美国IFT食品专业国际认证、欧盟ASIIN认证和国家工程认证。
The College is home to more than 1,600 undergraduate students and over 1,000 doctoral and master’s students. It offers a postdoctoral research station in Food Sciences and Engineering, first-level doctoral and master’s programs in Food Sciences and Engineering, a master’s program in Refrigeration and Cryogenic Engineering, and 2 professional master’s programs in Biology and Medicine and Energy and Power. It has 6 undergraduate majors: Food Sciences and Engineering, Food Quality and Safety, Biopharmaceuticals, Energy and Power Engineering, Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering, and Packaging Engineering. The College currently has a faculty of 121 teaching and research staff, including three national-level talents such as selected members of the National “Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talents Project” and more than 20 provincial- and ministerial-level talents such as Shanghai Eastern Scholars. It has 11 provincial- and ministerial-level research platforms, including the National Experimental Teaching Center for Food Sciences and Engineering and the Key Laboratory of High-Quality Utilization, Storage and Transportation of Aquatic Products of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and has established the International Joint Research Center for Food Nutrition and Health. 信息学院成立于1996年，依托学校海洋、水产领域学科优势，形成了以智慧海洋、智慧渔业、导航遥感测绘为特色的学科方向。
The College of Information Technology was established in 1996. Leveraging the University’s disciplinary strengths in marine and fisheries fields, it has developed distinctive disciplinary directions in smart ocean, smart fisheries, navigation, remote sensing, and surveying and mapping.
学院在校学生2100余人，教学科研人员120余人。现有海洋工程与信息二级博士学位授权点1个，设有计算机科学与技术、低空技术与工程、电子信息、人工智能4个硕士学位授权点，以及计算机科学与技术、空间信息与数字技术、数据科学与大数据技术、人工智能4个本科专业。其中空间信息与数字技术入选国家一流建设专业建设点，计算机科学与技术专业、空间信息与数字技术通过中国工程教育专业认证。
The College currently boasts over 2,100 students and more than 120 teaching and research faculty members. It offers one secondary-discipline doctoral program in Marine Engineering and Information, as well as 4 master’s programs in Computer Science and Technology, Low-Altitude Technology and Engineering, Electronic Information, and Artificial Intelligence. It also runs four undergraduate majors: Computer Sciences and Technology, Spatial Information and Digital Technology, Data Sciences and Big Data Technology, and Artificial Intelligence. Notably, Spatial Information and Digital Technology has been approved as a National First-class Undergraduate Program. In addition, both Computer Sciences and Technology and Spatial Information and Digital Technology have obtained China Engineering Education Accreditation.

2.The initial appointment term is five years, including a one-year probationary period.
